Baking Mix Recipe

(One 9″ or 10″ Pie)


  • 1/2 cup “JIFFY” Baking Mix
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • pecans (optional)

Baking Mix


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9″ or 10″ pie pan.

Combine ingredients; beat until smooth. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with pecans (optional). Bake 50 – 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
