Creates a delicious, flavorful cake.

Yields: 9 - 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • Cake
  • Ganache Frosting

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8” or 9” cake pan.

  • Step 2

    For cake, combine cake mix, pudding mix and cocoa powder. Add eggs, water or milk and margarine or butter. Mix 30 seconds on medium. Scrape bowl and mix an additional 2 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Pour batter into pan. Bake 34 – 38 minutes.

  • Step 4

    For frosting, in microwavable bowl, heat cream until hot (about 1 minute). Add chocolate chips and let set for 1 minute. Stir with whisk until combined. Pour over slightly cooled cake.
