- 2-1/2 cups “JIFFY” Baking Mix
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 3/4 cup cold water
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oil in deep fryer to 375°F.
For donuts, combine baking mix, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Using an electric mixer, slowly add water mixing to form a stiff dough. Roll dough into 1-1/2” balls. Carefully drop into hot oil. Brown on both sides and drain on paper towel. For coating, combine ingredients in a plastic or paper bag. Add a few warm donuts at a time and shake to coat.
