Lemon Cream Cheese Squares


(9 – 12 Servings)



  • 1 pkg. “JIFFY” Golden Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract


  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Golden Yellow Cake Mix


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8” square pan.

For crust, combine ingredients until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Press remaining mixture in bottom of pan. For topping, combine ingredients until creamy. Spread over crust. Sprinkle reserved crust mixture over filling. Bake 23 – 27 minutes.
